1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, registering a user account, or submitting a competition application, you express your full, unreserved, and legally binding agreement to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are not authorized to use this website and its services.

2. Service Description

Our platform provides a comprehensive online system designed for teacher/tutor registration, competition team management, and application submission, including competition entries into an international competition (“Service”).

The operator and provider of the Service is [Name of Your Organization / Company], ID No. (IČO): [IČO Number], registered office: [Registered Office Address], registered in the [Commercial/Trade Register] (“Organizer” or “Founder”).

3. Accounts and Security

  • Authorized person: Only an adult (teacher, tutor, team leader, or authorized representative of the school/organization) is entitled to register a user account. The registering user declares that they have full legal capacity.
  • Data confidentiality: The user is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials (username and password) and for all activities that occur under their account.
  • Incident reporting: In the event of any unauthorized access, loss of login credentials, suspected cyberattack, or security breach (hacking), the User is obliged to inform the Organizer immediately.

4. Eligibility and Contest Rules

Only teams and students meeting the age, regional, and category criteria defined in the official rules of the given year may participate in the competition. Awarding of prizes is subject to professional evaluation by a jury. There is no legal entitlement to win a prize, and prizes cannot be enforced through courts or claimed in cash. The recipient of the prize is responsible for fulfilling any tax obligations in accordance with the laws of their country.

5. Conduct and Respect

All users commit to acting respectfully and professionally toward the Organizer, jury members, and other participants. Using profanity, bullying, discriminating, defaming, or acting offensively in any communication within the Service is strictly prohibited.

6. Prohibited Content and Activities

It is strictly prohibited to upload to or distribute through the platform:

  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Material containing illegal, hateful, pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Malicious code, viruses, malware, Trojan horses, or software designed to disrupt systems.

7. Security and Platform Integrity

The user agrees not to attempt to bypass the platform’s security features, conduct unauthorized vulnerability testing, automated data scraping, DoS/DDoS attacks, or gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or databases. Any breach of platform integrity grounds the right for immediate account termination and legal action.

8. Data and Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by a separate Privacy Policy document. The registering teacher/tutor is responsible for ensuring that they possess demonstrable consent from legal representatives before uploading minor participants’ data.

Third-party services: To ensure platform operation, we use verified third-party services (cloud hosting, email notifications, support systems, and delivery services) in accordance with the highest security standards.

9. Contact & Support

Our platform provides two levels of technical and customer support to ensure high availability and data security:

  1. Quick help / Unverified Support: For general questions, site visitors, and operational assistance, we use integrated LiveChat and Email support provided by the LiveAgent system. This support does not require logging in and does not process sensitive competition data.
  2. Authorized support / Verified Ticket System: For handling requests regarding user accounts, permissions, modifications of student applications, or personal data, the use of the Fluent Support ticket system is required. This system is available exclusively after a verified user logs in.

10. Intellectual Property

Act No. 185/2015 Coll. Copyright Act

  • Platform Ownership: All website content (design, texts, graphics, software code, logos) is the exclusive property of the Organizer and is protected by the Copyright Act.
  • Competition Entries: Copyrights to submitted competition works remain with their authors. By submitting an application, the User grants the Organizer a free, non-exclusive, territorially unlimited license (§ 65 et seq. of the Copyright Act) to evaluate the work by the jury, exhibit, publish, and promote competition results.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. The Organizer makes no express or implied warranties regarding continuous, error-free, or virus-free operation of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer, its partners, employees, and jury members shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, lost profit, or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

13. Termination

The Organizer reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s account or disqualify an application at any time, even without prior notice, particularly upon violation of these Terms, unauthorized security interference, or provision of false data.

14. Reporting Violations

  • Act No. 513/1991 Coll. Commercial Code

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms becomes invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
